Special thanks to Shelly and Trevor Reid who have volunteered to serve as Coordinators for the Silent Auction which we will be holding in conjunction with our Wine/Beer tasting on Feb 25.
We are asking ALL HTAC families to secure quality items for the silent auction. We are seeking both products and gift certificates for merchandise and/or services. Please canvass your family, friends, and local businesses for donations. We have prepared a letter (posted on the website) that you can personalize to assist in soliciting donations.

You can drop off your donations at the Reid's home, 2777 George Dauphinee Ave (off Almon Street) or the HTAC office (if you drop your items off at the HTAC office, please label them with your name). The deadline for receiving donations is Wednesday, February 23rd.

HTAC needs two adults to serve as parking lot attendants on the following dates:
January 22, 2012 2pm (workers needed 12:30-2pm) - Halifax Rainmen vs Summerside Storm
January 26, 2012 7pm (workers needed 5:30-7pm) - Mooseheads vs Baie-Comeau Drakkar
January 27, 2012 7pm (workers needed 5:30-7pm) - Halifax Rainmen vs London Lightning
February 3, 2012 7pm (workers needed 5:30-7pm) - Halifax Mooseheads vs Moncton Wildcats
February 4, 2012 7pm (workers needed 5:30-7pm) - Halifax Mooseheads vs Acadie-Bathurst Titan

As an incentive, HTAC volunteers are credited $35 per shift to the swimmers accounts. 50% of the funds raised goes to the Centennial Pool Board, and 50% (minus the incentive) goes directly to the HTAC operational budget. If you can help, please contact HTAC Parking Coordinator Wanda Bolivar,

Change in Time Trial Date and Location Jan 29, 7-9 am CGC
Due to the number of swimmers and coaches participating in the Atlantic Tri-meet this weekend, we are rescheduling the time trial, originally scheduled for Jan 21.
The time trial is now scheduled for SUNDAY, Jan 29, 7-9 am at the Canada Games Centre Pool.
In conjunction with the time trial, we will be hosting a bottle drive, with all proceeds going to general club fundraising. Please bring your refundable recyclables to the Time Trial. We will have volunteers in the Canada Games Centre parkinglot from 6:45 - 7:15 to collect your contributions - thanks for your support!
